Interdisciplinary Show, 60 min
In this new performance, planned obsolescence is placed in dialogue with the fleeting nature of a dancer’s career. We bring together three bodies of different ages whose trajectories speak of transformation, resilience, and the experiences that have shaped them. Their stories are deliberately interwoven with fictional elements: biography is not an end, but a lens through which to look at the whole of society. The scenography of Obsolescence unfolds as a reactive audiovisual environment in which bodies converse with technological objects. Projections and kinetic devices create the dramaturgical context, mapping in image and sound a world crossed by cycles, flows, and constant updates. At its core, this is a deeply human story—a meditation on time and how do we face inevitable material and human decay while embracing resilience? Obsolescence creates a space for reimagining what it means to be obsolete, and how we might transcend it.
